Mercy sat in the garden alone with her mortar and pestle and a bowl of herbs. The sunset leaked warm hues over everything and its velvet hand seemed to touch every surface making the rocky pathway even seem like a soft wool blanket. She was making a potion for a local woman who was having trouble sleeping. The liquid component of the potion had to be added at exactly midnight under a full moon, so she had a few hours to just grind her herbs.
The garden was deserted this time of night, others feared the lycans would come prowling, but somehow Mercy knew different. She looked down at the multicolored powder that was beginning to evolve in her hand. She set the bowl down on the stone bench beside her and laid her hands above it. She closed her eyes and breathed deeply,
"Peaceful sleep Restful sleep Let this mind be eased Let this body be calmed Let the sight of night and dream be clear."
The herbs glowed for a moment before returning to their previous state. This sort of spell rarely exhausted Mercy and so she didn't mind doing them. It was a way to make some money and help others in return. She heard footsteps approaching but didn't turn to look, she instinctively put her hand to the emerald amulet that laid against her throat.
"Can I help you?" Her voice erupted from her mouth small and rough. The spell had evidently taken wear on her vocal chords, but with a smalling cough she cleared her throat before returning to her herbs. [/blockquote]

Aiden by now had moved across the country scouring the world for any sign of the Archerious Coven or the Other Coven whom seemed to be in hiding. Aiden would prove to his own Coven that he was still alive and was not one to be fucked with. He would burn London to the ground if he saw fit to destroy that one particular festering sore on the world.
Lycans were now everywhere around here and it seems as though they only grew over the years. His breath became labored as his thoughts seemed to create more anger stemming inside of him and he walked the streets at night and the eyes of those who recognized him were mixed with fear, anger, and unknown feelings which made them seemingly blend into the darkness just to be avoided. A Vampire master here in London was not a regular everyday occurrence and more a less a Dracul Master was never an Occurrence.
As he walked he heard several things in the distance. Whispers of such as "Is that who I think it is?" or "What would he want here?" things like this only fueled the growing anger inside of Aiden as he moved about the streets. One could feel the Aura about him as it permeated most living things. The static shocks some people got and the feeling that caused their hair to stand on end was the unnatural Aura of an Undead and the one that permeated buildings causing a whole city to feel this sensation was a strong one at that.
He looks around at the people who seemed to be out of it. As he approached the outer area feeling a strong magical pull. Probably a Wiccan whom would be able to help him find the coven and if they could not then he would not be out. Surely they knew whom he was and could tell before he got close enough to him. He was not hiding his presence in the city so it was easy for him to be felt, seen, heard, everything one would imagine he was drawing as much attention to himself as possible.
His eerie blue eyes locked on the figure of the Wiccan in the garden and he said nothing at first peering through the darkness as those hues changed to more of a deep crimson color. His voice was cold and distant as he spoke and he made sure not to be caught off guard. Wretched creatures meddling in the black arts were no better off than a Vampire. "I need your Aide witch" he says through the darkness as he stares at her. "I need several things from you if you are experienced enough to perform such complicated spells" he says to her wondering what her experience was.
"I need you to track down the Archerious Coven here in England. I am not sure where the coven resides however they would welcome myself with open arms no doubt. I just need this small task of you at first the others will be more complicated" he says explaining to her the severity of his problems. "The next thing are several vials of my altered blood. I have two samples that I need mixed with a human blood and dimmed down so that I may hide my scent when amongst the city so I do not attract more attention than I already have." He explains more in depth.
"A master vampire who appears suddenly and disappears suddenly in the City would be something the Archerious Coven would look into. Especially one whom was of a Noble blood" Aiden says once more his voice holding a sort of seductive darkness to it. "Do this for me and I will reward you greatly" he says and tosses a bag of coins made of gold to her. "I have heard you are an apothecary worthy of praise, so I will also need ten vials of a poison, strong enough to sedate a Lycan" he says looking at her and waiting for her reply not sure if this master of dark arts would be willing.
She was an attractive thing if her blood had not been tainted he would have turned her no doubt. "I need these done in three nights if possible two nights. The shorter amount of time you get this done for me the more I will make it worth your while" he says looking at her and making sure she understood the need for such Items. He could already hear the approaching Lycans in the distance so he wanted to make sure to be out of here and away from her before they got here so he did not get a Wiccan aiding him killed.
"I must be gone soon so I need your answer Witch" he says to her trying to understand why in the world she would even listen to a vampire. Humans with magic powers were also an enemy of Vampires though this one was being paid to aide him so of course she had a good reason to aide him. He waited for her answer and reply to him and waited patiently.

Mercy knew the being that approached was not a usual human, not the sort that generally came to ask her for help. She felt the aura grow thick and sensed the possible danger. Most would jump and run or prepare to fight, but Mercy stayed calm. She knew if this being was here to hurt her, it would have already happened. She had sensed him coming and knew that he was not out for a romp.
She turned slowly to see him, a vampire no doubt, she tried to not to wrinkle her nose in disgust. Not only was he a vampire, but also a male, not her favorite sort of being. She noticed the blue eyes first, a bit hypnotizing but determined. She listened quietly to his requests, he obviously was in dire need if he was coming to a Wiccan for aide. She eyed him closely for a moment before speaking to him, restraining her worn nerves.
She noticed his body instinctually tense a bit when he listened to the Lycans approaching. They came every night and she was now accustomed to their approach and could calculate just how long she had until she needed to be in the house with the doors barred. Besides, on this night, she had work to do, no Lycan would be able to threaten her when she was working.
"First of all, do not call me Witch. I find it derogatory and foul. No matter if I am a woman or a man, if you need my help, I ask that you respect me. Also, I'm afraid the mixing of your blood will be much more simple than that of finding this coven you speak of." She rose slowly and approached him, leaving behind the sleeping potion. She stepped close to him, feeling his aura mesh with her own. "I should not be so trusting of you." She admitted, her voice low and her eyes steady.
"The poison I have, the blood mixing I can do, but you will have to wait a few days if you want me to find your coven. This will be very taxing on me... I don't think that this bag of gold will quite cover such a burden." Mercy chose her words carefully, so close to a vampire that could easily kill her it would not be wise of her to anger him. She looked up at him, "How badly do you need my help?" She let the edges of her mouth curl a bit, now was when she found out just how desperate this man was. [/blockquote]

Aiden looked at the sky high above them and thought for a moment about the coming storm upon them. Sighing knowing he could not just leave here without offering her some kind of protection or reimbursement he tosses down a bag of crimson stones. A bright blood red which were often thought to be the sole export of the Dracul clan. "These are no ordinary diamonds as I am sure you know. Blood rubies, are what some wiccans search for thousands of years and never find at all. In there are 10 stones, get what I want done in the next night" he says looking at her. "The coven should not be hard to find if you use those stones in searching for them" he says to her and then hears the loud screams approaching quickly.
Her eyes seems a bit intense and he could not smell fear on her blood. Which was brave or foolish, one or the other and he could not tell which at this point. "Hmmm it seems the term witch is not appreciated amongst your kind. Humans like you have no idea what waits at the depths of that darkness you seem to want to search for. Those eyes and thoughts staring back from the darkness are not your imagination. Those things are what even immortals fear" he says looking at the Wiccan who seemed to be a bit brave now.
He notices the Lycans are now about 10 feet out "I guess it can not be helped" he says and removes the long silver sword from the sheathe. The metal shines under the moonlight and its brilliant fixtures and decorations would make a handsome reward for some one who could take it. The sword was of course cursed, being cursed with his own blood so that no other may use this magnificent weapon against him. As the first Lycan leaps through the air Aiden merely closes his eyes and waits for the approach downwards as the lycan seemingly stops in its track inches before it reaches him, its body disassembles into large meat chunks of tissue, innards, and blood.
"Filthy beasts...." he says sighing as he can tell another two are waiting and watching seemingly afraid to attack now. A Lycan so easily killed meant to the other two that they would end up the same exact way if they were not careful. "Now where were we..." he says turning back to her and smirking upon hearing the fleeting steps of the Lycans. "Killing such beasts will bring me more attention no doubt and will bring some questions to you. Do not inform anyone you saw or heard from me, it will not only endanger your life from them, but I will hunt you down and kill you as well" he says to her hoping she understood no one could know about him being here.

Mercy eyed the crimson jewels. They were extremely rare and very coveted by any Wiccan. She would never in her lifetime see that many of those rubies in one place. She tried to not let the greed show in her eyes. He really needed her help, no vampire would have given that much for something they could have done on their own.
His request for the next night was still extremely difficult to fathom, but she would try her hardest. She wanted those stones and for some reason to prove her ability to this vampire.
Suddenly the Vampire drew his sword and decreased a large lycan to chopped meat. She wasn't impressed, although the Lycans were vicious and territorial, they were still animals and it displeased her to see them killed. She shrugged the heart ache away and turned back to the vampire.
"I will not speak of our encounter and what took place here today." Her voice came out darker than she meant it, but continued anyway. "I suppose we've completely passed up politeness. "My name is Mercy." The vampire had a strange allure to him and Mercy found it unsettling. She was never attracted to men because she was usually too busy hating them. "Do you have a name or shall I just call you vampire." [/blockquote]

Aiden looked at her wondering what in the world she was just sitting here for at this point. Hmm wiccans always seemed to sympathize for these rabid beasts which have no real purpose and seem to be so disorganized. "Please use the time wisely, the others are just as important as finding this coven I speak of" he says to her and smiles kindly. He of course had not much time to get out of here and back to a safe house where he could rest for the morning. "Do not worry about finding me I will find you in one nights time" he says and looks at her once more his eyes being rather calm, some would call slightly hypnotizing. His face holding little emotion on it at all as he looked to her and then moved himself.
As he moved back into the shadows not a trace of him could be found on the ground. This reason was for the fact Aiden hardly walked at all. He let his feet hover millimeters above the ground so that no tracks could be followed. It was rather taxing at some times and it could wear him out quickly if he exerted to much of his energy. He had been practicing this way of vanishing for many years now and had mastered it the only vampire who used this method. He made sure that she understood though, that he would not nor could he be found by anyone as the area's he traveled in were not normally thought of. He would of course stay away from caves and the likely habitats of Lycans. Most often he would dig a hole in the earth and lay a coffin in it. Each night he would use his power to cause the casket to move up and down pushing the earth up.
He would also make sure to keep all of his quarters covered in dirt so that when others came by they would merely think it a normal grave and leave it undisturbed. He moved towards this resting place being able to tell its not long till sunrise and he needed to be safe inside to make sure he did not get burned or injured during this point. Moving into the dark forest he sees the elegant mahogany casket sitting there and he opens it up laying inside. The Casket is laying next to a hole about 10 feet deep and he moves the casket allowing it to levitate a few feet before settling in the bottom. Then using his power moves dirt and rocks he had moved a few days ago over top the casket.

Mercy watched as the vampire disappeared into the shadows and was quickly gone. She arched an eyebrow in the direction he had gone but couldn't see anything. She was given her mission and that was all he had to do with it. Or so it seemed. She despised customers that acted like that.
She looked about and noticed the Lycans had stayed at bay since the vampire had destroyed one of their own. She looked at the moon, it would be just long enough to finish her potion for the villager. But the problem was that the Lycans were already starting to venture from their hiding places. If Mercy were to finish her concoction she would have to put up a barrier and that would take more energy. If she was going to accomplish this vampire's demand, she could spare any energy.
The villager would have to go with a few more sleepless nights, it was that or most likely Mercy's life. [/blockquote]
